On August 26, 27 & 28 2005 at Deer Valley Resort, the Fidelity Investments Park City Jazz Festival returned for three days of incredible entertainment on two stages. Featured acts included George Benson, Taj Mahal, Bela Fleck, Stanley Clarke, and the Jean-Luc Ponty Trio.

The Jazz Fest expanded it's lineup to broaden the musical reach and expanded a targeted audience providing a wide range of entertainment value including two stages, numerous vendor opportunities, food and fun, once again making the Fidelity Investments Park City Jazz Festival the premier event of the summer.

Integrating Grammy Award winning artist, with a variety of genres including Latin, Blues, smooth jazz, and big names ensures the most exciting and culturally impacting presentation of talent in the region.

Park City Performing Arts Foundation

Park City Performing Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization, dedicated to presenting top-notch, diverse and entertaining performances to the community. Now in its ninth season, PCPAF continues to bring eclectic, nationally and internationally renowned performers to The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center for the Performing Arts (a joint-use facility with the Park City School District). PCPAF’s main stage acts have ranged from comedian Bill Cosby to Pilobolus Dance Theater (a Cultural Olympiad performance) to bluegrass stars, Nickel Creek.

Throughout the summer, PCPAF presents the Wells Fargo Concerts in the Park – free concerts performed by local musicians for local audiences as well as Big Stars, Bright Nights (large-scale concerts) at Deer Valley Resort.

Utah Symphony & Orchestra

Summertime at Deer Valley Resort also brings the Utah Symphony & Opera, held in the Outdoor Amphitheater at Snow Park Lodge. The Utah Symphony is one of only 19 full-time, professional orchestras in the United States, and is best recognized internationally through its great recording legacy. From its early beginnings in 1940, with 5 concerts performed by 52 part-time musicians, the 83-member orchestra now performs over 200 concerts each year.

Concerts at The Canyons Resort

Concerts at The Canyons welcomes many professional acts that have included Buckweat Zydeco, Sonny Landreth, String Cheese Incident, Green Day, and Collective Soul. These concerts are held in The Canyon's Village Forum are which features a covered stage, concessions, beer garden, plenty of seating, fire pit, and a large sculpture that is the center piece of the forum.

Park City Film Series

The Park City Film Council is dedicated to providing to the residents of Park City and the surrounding area opportunities to experience and view motion pictures not normally available through commercial outlets in the Summit County area. It will also strive to bring viewers the opportunity to experience and view films which have obtained recognition as unique and exceptional cinematic efforts that have not been exhibited in our area. Enjoy independent films, Sundance Favorites, and less mainstream films. Films are shown at the Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Avenue, at 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Films are shown weekends between September and June.

Main Street Art Walk

The last Friday of every month the Kimball Arts Center sponsors the Main Street Art Walk. Many of the Art galleries up and down Park City's Historic Main Street feature wine, beverages, and appetizers while attendees gaze and hopefully purchase wonderful pieces of original art.
