BUILDING DREAMS
When Cameron first entered the construction industry he was
part of the Project Team. He was part of a group of individuals
with the appropriate professional and technical skills necessary
for carrying out the work detailed in the project plan. Many
times, he was required to have the physical stamina to withhold
exposure to weather and work in places and positions for prolonged
periods of time.
As time passed, he developed hands-on experience in all areas
of the project process, and quickly acquired experience and
skills in the various phases of the craft. And as he demonstrated
his ability to perform the tasks assigned, he moved to progressively
more challenging work. In turn, his skills broadened, he was
able to work more independently and his responsibilities increased.
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
- Facilitation of design team meetings, tracking
and monitoring job staff levels, petty cash fund, creation
of purchase orders and material ordering.
- Effective in communicating with all levels
of management in achieving goals.
- Job site translator (fluent in Spanish).
- Hands-on experience in all facets of the
construction process. I.e. surveying, layout, estimating,
excavation supervision through to final punch list.
